In case you forget someone’s birthday! Here is an Easy Birthday Cake with Buttercream to make for your beloved one and it takes only a few minutes to be ready.

This spongy, fluffy, and tasty cake will be your family’s preferred one.

So, let’s learn together how to easily prepare this special cake.


Cake Batter :

  • 5 whole eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 and half a cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp of milk
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp of vanilla sugar


  • 1 and half a cups of softened butter
  • 3 cups of icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp of milk
  • 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract


Cake Batter :

  1. Firstly, separate egg whites and yolks in different bowls. Then in a large bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. In the bowl where we put the yolks, add 1 cup of sugar, 3 tbsp of vegetable oil, and 3 tbsp of milk, and mix well. Then, upload gradually sifted 1 and half a cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp of baking powder, and 1/2 tsp of vanilla sugar, and mix all the ingredients together.
  3. Then, add the egg white and keep mixing until smooth and moist.
  4. Divide the batter in 2 and pour it into 2 tins having the same size. Then, in a preheated oven at 350F, bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until golden.


  1. In a bowl, add softened butter, and beat for about 5 to 6 minutes. Then, add 3 cups of sugar, 1 cup at a time, and mix well.
  2. Next, add 3 tbsp of milk, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract and mix until nicely combined.
  3. Let the cake cool completely. Then, remove some crust to make it flat.
  4. Put the first cake layer onto a cake stand, pour some buttercream above the cake, and spread it evenly. And put into the fridge for about 5 to 10 minutes to firm up slightly.
  5. Then, put the other cake layer on top, put the buttercream, and by using a spatula spread across the top evenly, and then down the sides. Once your cake is crumb coated, refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  6. Fill your piping bag with buttercream, and pipelines all the way around the sides, and up to the top of your cake. Then, smooth it out with your spatula, or a cake scraper to make the sides perfect and clean the edges.
  7. Sprinkle with some decorative sprinkles, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
