Tart Batter :

  • 1 and half a cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of almond powder
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence
  • 1 large egg

Sweet lemon cream:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of lime juice
  • Lemon zest of 2 lemons
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

Method :

Tart Batter :

  1. Firstly, in a large bowl, add 1 and half a cups of flour, 1/2 cup of almond powder, and 1/2 cup of unsalted butter. Then, mix it all together.
  2. Next, upload 3 tbsp of sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp of vanilla essence, and 1 whole egg. And mix all the ingredients until nicely combined.
  3. Keep mixing the dough and form it into a nice small ball. Then, cover it in a cling wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  4. On a clean surface, roll the dough to a suitable size, place it in a greased tart tray, cut out the extra dough with a rolling pin, and pierce it using a fork. Then, freeze for about 10 minutes.
  5. In a preheated oven at 340F°, bake the tart for about 12 to 15 minutes.

  1. In a saucepan at low heat, add 3 whole eggs, 3 egg yolks, and 1/2 cup of sugar, and mix it well until sugar is dissolved.
